Ok ok guys, before you all get excited,

NO! I still don't have my Tyros2 yet, but . . .

My Synthzone/Tyros2.net buddy, Heikki Kahkola (aka the Wolf), really cheered me up today, by recording a TERRIFIC rendition of "As Long As I'm Singin", and even dedicated it to me. Heikki: I'm both honored & touched! Man, you definitely 'know how' to s-w-i-n-g. Have a listen folks:

"As Long As I'm Singing" performed on Tyros2 by Heikki Kahkola

Btw: the horn & string pizzacatto fills were triggered via Tyros2 multipads.

For COMPARISON, checkout my now rather 'keyboard dated sounding' version:

"As Long As I'm Singing", performed by Scott Yee .

I can't WAIT to finally receive my Tyros2 so I can update my website with NEW updated sounding songs . . . performed on Tyros2 !

Scott, didn't you hear? That entire batch of T2s was recalled and is now on the way back to Japan.

April Fool, no wait it's Halloween.

... never mind.

Superb demo. That Tyros 2 sounds amazing and the vocals are excellent, makes me want to start singing lessons lol
Is the vocal just recorded direct to the hard drive using a reverb setting on the Tyros 2, or has the mic gone through an outside source before entering the Tyros 2?
Either way top quality stuff and I love the rewording of the song, very clever.

Ha, ha, ha LOL

Great joke Don.
Scott probably had a near heart attack.
I was almost ready to perform CPR...

Great job both of you.

Two thumbs up

Eric
