Hello List!
I currently sequence on cubase using a yamaha psr-toy,boss drum mach,guitars etc. and I'm ready for a real synth. I'd like to find the highest quality performance synth with the most sounds/features/tweakability/expandability possible. I also looked at xp30 but dont like the joystick. I want a synth that will be able to control other synthmods later, a center for my studio.I dont really know the diff tween 01w/prophecy/D7 and all the experience you have to compare to, only my little yamaha..... and everything out there is better!!Its hard to know what little features I'll want/like/need 3 months after I buy a synth and discover later that I really got the wrong instrument!Even tho I'm in my 30's, my Q's are beginner,...sorry.My music is dark,gothrock,techno,indus,noise

Is N5ex what I should look at for a main synth?What others?

How do you find the quality?

What did you look at and compare with other synths?

Are the FX global in combi or can each patch have its own settings?

Is it easy to find/load other ppl patches from the web?Compatible with all N-series?
