Howdy,

I found my future board. As soon as a saw the the Roland Fantom-S I fell in love with it. Doing hours upon hours of research and comparison, thats the one for me, no doubt. I found a couple for about 700, but have been too late to get it and havent found any other deals lately.

I dont know if theres a for sale place im missing or what but if anybody happens to see one for sale, it would be of great help if you could send it to me.

Thanks alot!

Phil

Phil,

Try bpmmusic in Colorado (I purchased a Boss BR1600 from them and got a great deal):

By the way, the Fantom S is a great choice, especially when you add the optional SRX cards.

Thanks Michael, do they have used boards? Sorry I should have stated that it pretty much has to be used, and has to be about 700 dollars. I will sacrafice a little cosmetic damage for a cheaper price under certain situations.

Thanks,

Phil

Phil,

As soon as you get a Fantom S, you'll be able to download over 1500 new patches from Roland (easily available at the Fantomized site). Using the free Editor\Librarian software included with the Fantom, you'll be able to preview and load whatever sounds take your fancy. I've previewed at least half of these sounds and loaded over 200 into my machine. When I get the chance I'll definitely preview the rest! Good stuff!

Phil, try www.starvingmusician.com and see if they have one. They sell a LOT of used equipment and have 3 stores in California.

You might also try www.twolinesmusic.com they sell used gear and are in New York City.

Good Luck.

Not sure where you live just you might want to check out GUITAR CENTER. They have surprised me more then once with the used keyboards they have in stock. Plus given how large the chain is odds are if they DONT have what your looking for...they can check other locations and get it shipped to thier store ( no cost to you ).

As for price...in general the used keyboards ive seen at Guitar Center are 100$ less or more then the random ebay going prices.
