Sorry, Bill, but I STILL don't quite get the point of playing a $10k arranger that sounds like this. I understand that if you go out and get a fortune in 3rd party VST instruments, spend months tweaking the styles so that they work well with the new styles, you MIGHT get something that blows a $3k T2 or so away. But nothing about those styles there made me go 'gasp! I have GOT to get me one of these!', which the T2/G70/PA2X does...
Also, I'm a little curious... Just why, exactly, haven't you kept up with the OAS upgrade path? Was it because your hardware needs upgrading, or was it the widely reported bugs in OAS6, or was it just that an OAS upgrade can cost several thousand dollars (as opposed to the free updates by the big 3)?
I am just joshing with you a BIT... But still, it's curious that, when an upgrade path exists, why is it not taken? Admittedly, some of the Abacus upgrade paths can knock you back over $2000 (Open Art Arranger and a new, bigger screen - is that a necessity?), and US prices are hard to find, so I am prepared to be refuted, there, but the fact that, unlike just about every G70 or PA1XPro user, you STILL haven't upgraded your OAS makes me wonder WHY?
You often pop in on threads to tout the technical superiority of OAS, but don't seem to have been up-to-date yourself. Technical superiority is only any good if you can afford it, IMO...
