Can anyone give a clearer explanation of the differences between: A Song, A pattern, and A Track and how they interelate within the recording features of the sequence

A song is a combination of 16 tracks. There are 10 songs in the Nx64 sequencer. A track is bassically and opening in a song where you could record into. and a pattern is a one measure phrase taken from a track. You can assign patterns to keys and when you press the key the pattern will repeat itself. This is bassically a looping function.
