I recorded new ones ok but they are all dry/no efx when played with a
style. I can't find a way to add efx to them. But the factory ones have reverb etc? Hmmmm?

Donny

The Multipads use "Reverb 1" and "Chorus 2"
DSP's, the PADS will always use which ever type of effect you choose for these two "DSP" blocks(I think you are probably limited to Reverb and/or chorus, check out "Reverb 1 and Chorus 2 on the "eff type" page of the main mixer to see the dsp's available). To activate them you have to ensure that the dsp levels for the pads are turned up on the "effdepth" page of the main mixer.

I hope this makes sense, Paul.

Hi Donny,

My previous reply to your question did'nt show up, even though the reply counter showed "1", very strange, oh well I will try again.

The only DSP Blocks that can be applied to the multipads are "Reverb 1" and "chorus 2" both of which also provide the reverb/chorus on a global basis to all the sections.
You can change the type of Reverb/chorus by entering the mixer and selecting "eff type" page, then select the relevent DSP block on the left side "Reverb 1/ Chorus 2" and then selecting the effect type on the right.
To adjust the level of the chosen effect select "eff depth" page (in the mixer) and adjust the "Reverb 1/Chorus 2 levels" on the PADS section.
Hope this makes sense.

Paul.
