HI,
I have been using a TR-Rack and a N1 synth for more than a year using a direkt PC (serial cable) connection to my COM port.It has worked well. Suddenly it stopped working, couldnīt find any KORG gear it said.
After trashing my system in feeble attempts to get hold of any conflicts i gave up. Reformated the drive and installed win 98, and i still canīt get it to work. No other soft or drivers using the COM portis installed, except modem of course. But this was working before without any problems.
When looking at the midi-driver in the control panel/multimedia/units-tabI it says "The driver is activated but is not in use due to an unknown problem".

Any hints on what i can do or who i might ask to solve this are greatly appreciated.
