I looked at the Roland EP760 in local store. I was really impressed witht the sound quality. Like anyone's opinion.

Do you mean VR-760? I am not familiar with an EM760. The VR is not an arranger, but it is a fantastic board. It has three sections - organ, piano and synth - plus a basic rhythm section. The synth section can be just about any instrument or sound you want. I think this is Roland's best keyboard in a long time. Right now I am saving to get one next year.

the VR-760 was actually renamed to the VR Combo. But, there is a Ep-760 as I found one on Ebay : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2366260371&category=38090

Worth every penny of the Buy it now price. It's light-weight and basic, and sounds great.

I played the accoustic piano voice on the EP760, and to my ears it sounds good. I liked it better than the expensive Yamaha's, Korg and other Roland's. It is a new board. I think it was semi-weighted.
