They're also selling a PSR3000 for the same starting price and someone has bid on it already. Very strange to see that they have 3 of each unit for sale. Even the PSR3000 picture is taken from YamahaPKOwner.com. Surely if these were legit the seller would put his own picture of them on for sale. There's far too many suspect dealers on ebay when it comes to musical instruments and to be honest Ebay seem to be doing very little about it. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Yamaha-PSR3000-W...1QQcmdZViewItem

Hmmm, you are right. Now this looks downright suspicious. Note the "24 hour" timing of the listings. I think I'll send Ebay and PayPal each a message. Already sent query to seller -- nothing back yet 3 hours later. On a 1-day listing?
I got burned recently for the first time after years of doing little things on Ebay. Not much $$$ involved and PayPal coughed up about $25 of the total (their "insurance"). This was a seller with over 1000 positive feedbacks over 5 years -- just decided suddenly to kinda go bankrupt and quit (with all the money from xxx transactions). By the time Ebay banned the seller it was too late.

Yay !!!! BOTH listings (for the 9000 and 3000 keyboards) have been removed from Ebay. Looks like our suspicions were on the mark -- something very fishy about the offer.
Now I am wondering how this phoney deal found it's way into a listing sponsored by a seller with such a decent feedback rating.
At least what seemed fraudulent offers have been taken away from potential victims.

The thieves have found ways to steal the identities of legitimate Ebayers. You have to be very careful. I get dozens of "second-chance" offers, all of whom want to sell directly. Just report all of them to spoof@ebay.com DonM
A final word on the auctions mentioned above: I received an email this AM (late, of course) from the listing source asking for the usual payment up front, item to be shipped from a foreign source. Uh-huh. I have turned in the registered Ebay seller for fraudulent listing activities.
