Hi,

I'm new with MIDIs. I have a cakewalk proaudio 7 and a Korg X5D. The question is: how do I set the MIDI channels in cakewalk (or Korg X5D?) so that the cakewalk can play the sounds that correspond to the sounds in Korg X5D?

Desperately wanting to start :-(

Use the X5D's Multi mode (press the Multi/Global button so it isn't flashing).

Pro Audio 7 doesn't come with a instrument definition for the X5D, but you can download it at:

ftp://ftp.cakewalk.com/pub/InstrumentDefinitions/

The X5D and X5DR are the same synth engine.
