I have an ordinary piano made in 1927 at home. I play it sometimes! Among my favorite tunes I can mention Georgia and Emigrantvisa.
But ..... it would be nice to have a drummer,
a baseman and i.e. a guitarist beside me.
Whoau! That would be fine. Y2000 would per-
haps be a suitibal equipment.
All right! Got the manual on the Net.
Almost 10 MB!!! And 170 pages of information.
I have not counted the words.
How to handle it?????

In my experience it is not a big deal to manage and arranger keyboard as there is so much help on this forum. I use Solton X1 and it is a good keyboard. I love piano and therefore I bring electric piano with me also . Not many peo[le do that But as you are used to acoustic piano it would be a great option. Left hand --on a good arranger and right hand on piano, and occasionally playing on right hand of arranger !! It is being stated now that there are pretty good pianos in most modern Arrangers and perhaps you will be pleased. I love x1 but piano is not good enough for me on the road - not that I'm very good but there is just no comparison to real piano or to (electric piano -I use Corg SG1d 10 yrs old but great piano. Getting used to one is perhaps a matter of getting what you want/need and getting at it.Basic operation is instant !!!.

If you can play simple left hand chords you will be all set. With a Yamaha (or any other arranger keyboard), you will have your bass player, drummer and a few other band members to play along with. You will be amazed. Why not try out one of these keyboards at your local music store to see for yourself.

your question is not clear. Please paraphrase your question and be very specific. Rememeber: we cannot read your mind nor your intentions.

I think our friend may be looking to add an automatic accompaniment, possibly preprogrammed to accompany him on his piano. In this case may I suggest something like a yamaha QY100? He can then program his chords and backing and play along on his piano? Of course a PSR2000 would also do very nicely, though it will cost a bit more than an accompaniment unit.
If he is asking if it possible to add the accompaniment to his piano physically, then I do not think this would be economical. It would be easier to go and buy a Clavinova!
If he wants to keep playing his piano and have accompaniment automatic in background, like midifile, then even pc computer with a sound module or software synth could fit the bill.
The question is not entirely clear, but given enough answers maybe we can answer it!
