I OWN A KORG N264 AND I CANT LOAD A MIDIFILE. ITS A "YES" MIDIFILE, THE FILE IS: CLOSE TO THE EDGE, ITS ABOUT 213KB. A MESSAGE APPEARS ON THE LCD SCREEN: MEMORY FULL.

WHY?

DO I HAVE T RENAME THE FILE?

I REMEMBER THAT THE N264 HAS 32000 NOTES CAPACITY, WHY I CANT LOAD THAT FILE?

I COULD ONLY LOAD SHORT FILES IN THIS SYNTH?

IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO LOAD MIDIFILES IN THE KORG N264?

DO I HAVE TO USE NECESARILY A COMPUTER TO LOAD IT?

PLEASE, EMAIL ME, I HAVE HE MIDI FILE HERE AND I CAN SEND IT TO YOU PEOPLE...MAYBE IT COULD HELP.

213 is quite large for a midi file. I wouldn't be surprised if you running out of memory.

Also check if the sequencer has a requirement that the midi file be saved as a type 0 or type 1. That could give you an error.

Your sequencer is full.

Load your reset, empty, or preset file that came with your keyboard, that would erase previous sequences, and you'll be able to load new ones.

the N264 have capacity of 32,000 notes which is 250.6KB so try again, if it doesn't want ot work then you have to check with your local.
