OTOH, you could just go out and pay under a grand for an Intel Mac, and never have to worry about any of that stuff again. PLUS get pretty near all the apps you need for free (Garageband is a monster music app), and, if you REALLY need to run a Windows program, it will boot regular Windows, or run it in a shell alongside OSX...

But maybe you all LIKE having to worry about hackers and trashed drives...
