I was just wondering if anyone had an answer to this question.
Can the pro play mp3+g files...i.e. karoke files such as sunfly , sound choice etc..
The Korg PA web site says the optional mp3 board will read embedded text files.
I have contacted Korg but they could not answer this question as the person who deals with mp3 is away at the moment...
I just wondered if anyone had one fitted or knew the answer to this question.. cheers folks.

Pa1X supports id3-compliant MP3 files. http://www.id3.org

The PA1XPRO in my store has both the MP3 board and the CD drive. However, I don't have a file you are talking about to try. Can you send me one at:

I am following this thread with some interest..........."George", have you had a chance to see if we could use CD+G in this keyboard?

I downloaded an MP3 and g file JDX sent me. It was a zipped file. I extracted the two files, copied them to a CD R and burned them on the CDR. Then I put the CD into the PA1X PRO and the one file that comes up is the MP3. I played the MP3 just fine but when I pushed the lyrics button, there were no lyrics. Is there something else I needed to do to get the lyrics file to work? I really don't know anything about these mp3 with lyrcs files.
