I`m having some problems dumping sysex (patches, performances etc) from my pc (i´m using cakewalk 6.0) to my wavestation, and the synth keeps writing "sysex write protection error".Both internal and card memory are disabled, and i simply don´t know what to do. Any ideas...?

I think this has to do with what Wavestation you got. It seems that Cakewalk supports only the original Wavestation, the EX,A/D and SR has other types of memory-configurations so it will not work.

I think that this is the problem, but if someone got information about this please write. I am myself a bit curious about this?

IF you are trying to dump to a card...you need to "unprotect" card too. If you are a newbie....are you trying to load something other than Wavestation banks?
