Hi
I am trying to set up my sound selections for each of the songs in our sets. I don't want to overwrite the factory sounds and have the PCMCIA adapter card with compact flash card. EG, for Ifeel good I need to set up the Keyboard with Brass on RH1, Tenor Sax on RH2 and Baritone Sax on RH3, then the next song I need Jazz Organ on RH1 and Rock Piano in LH1 - How do I save these settings on the CF card so that I can just load the right sound sets as and when needed,
Thanks
Mark

Hey Mark, On my Rolands I can save the Performances [G1000 on Zip]..They are small data and reload quickly..I think you can save the factory Performances in your flash memory as well as external media sources..After you save the factory performances, you can modify the data to suit your needs [and save your new Performances]..It is very easy to recall a Performance group..and I am pretty sure you can reload a single performance at any time[as the Music Assistant functions]..
Maybe Diki, Don, Hank or another G70 user will enlighten you..

The Danish G70 Users Club should have all the information you need there (and more!), so I'd surf in there (join if you feel like it, it's free!) and see what you can learn.

But quick answer.... replacing a factory UPG does not delete it. The UPS stores 144 UPG's in a list (Set List) where you can call them up quickly, in the organization you prefer. So make a new UPS, and start storing your gig UPGs there.

See you in Denmark......!
