The major difference besides the disk drive is the data wheel which is only on the DGX202 and not on the DGX200/300/500. I'm not familiar with the DGX200 because US dealers can't buy the DGX200. These are sold only through the mass market stores such as Costco, etc. I would think that the DGX200 probably does not have the piano style keys as found on the DGX300 and DGX500 but rather the same synth type keys found on the DGX202. The DGX300 and 500 have a more "refined" look rather than the PSR type look of the DGX202. They are more designed to look like a piano rather than a keyboard. The other differences are that the DGX 300/500 do not have all the same functions as the DGX202 when using splits and layers. The DGX202 was designed more recently and has some important changes not included in the DGX300/500 which were derived using the PSR350's engine. It doesn't make them "older" just different features although very similar.

Well, im not planning to get a DGX-300/500. Im planning on getting a DGX-200 OR 202 cause i was saving up for them since the end of november. I already made 300 dollars and ready to spend it on that keyboard. I already have a piano anyway. Plus i even tried out the 200 at bestbuy. I loved it!

Does the DGX200/202 have any sweet voices? If remember correctly the 300/500 have some sweet voices.

Pianoman35,
I guess it would depend on what you want from the keyboard. For $99 more you could get the 300 with better piano style keys and action, disk drive, better sounds, and in my opinion better sound from the speakers.. I had the chance to play the 200 series and both the 300 and 500 as well. For just $99 more I think the DGX-300 is well worth it. The 200 is the replacment for the GX-76 and the 300/500 are based on the PSR-350. Again it falls down to what your personal needs are for the keyboard. Trust me I know how crazy it gets when saving for that keyboard. I'll most likely be buying the PSR-1000 with my social security check, and I'm YEARS away from getting that check too...
