I know that one has speakers and 61 keys, but is that the only difference between the 2?

The Pa1X doesn't come with a Hard Drive installed.

But the Pa1X is suppose to cost about $100 less than the PRO. Of course the proprietary Hard Drive that you will ultimately have to purchase will probably cost you $200, right?

They try to get you every way they can unfortunately.

Best regards,
Mike

Maybe not strictly true. If the i30 was anything to go by, the manual for that model suggested a Toshiba 1.4GB 2.5" Model MK1401MAV hard drive, commonly used in their laptops. (There was also a Fujitsu model the particulars of which I can't recall right now.) You can usually find these drives at computer stores or on e-bay for around the $30 mark. They are a straightforward install, as well.
