Hello.
This is my first time to this BB.
I am in the market for a new keyboard right now but I don't have alot of synth background to make a sound choice - can you give me any info on the N1/N5 --pros/cons, which is the latest, the best, features, etc...anything that would give me a better understanding of which one is the best for the money. Also, if anyone has any info on the Ensonique ZR-16, that would be great too!
Thank you in advance for any and all help.
-Mark

Well, I've got the N5EX. Nice place to start from. You get tons of patches... somewhere around 1700. Up to 32 Parts Multitimbral, 200 user slots to create your own patches using the onboard samples.. It also makes for a good controller if you've got other things to control with MIDI.

I found that the Filter really really sucks though. And the electronic sounds are a bit lacking.

Ack.. I forget, BIG drawback to it. 48 nice effects, but only two effect busses. Now, that is only a drawback if you're a performance artist. If you're just using it for recording like me... well I just use my plug-in effects anyway.
