UD or Richard Peck, since you have used the PAS can you help me plz ?
I've ordered for the L1 + single B1. I've not heard it but I've read your comments and I respect your judgement wholly !!

Regarding the PS1 power stand, -
1) does it have the capability to send and return an external effect processor (Aux)?
( I have to connect my digitech VPR to the PS1 so as to get harmonies for both mics )

2) How good are the EQ presets for vocals ? any delays (important) ?

3) please explain the controls and in/outputs on the PS1 as the pictures are'nt clear.

4) Does the PS1 have phantom power for a condencer mic -AKGC900- ?

( I'm considerind picking up an Alesis 6fx analogue mixer as an alternative and feed the mixer out to the PAS - is this a better solution ?)

Really appreciate your advice UD, Richard and anyone else.
Thanks and Best Regards

Michael

Michael,
You will NEED to use an external mixer to do what you want, but the PAS does have phantom power for basic hook ups. It also has effects loops, but they are dedictaed to each of the 1st two channels.

You could use a Digitech VR on each channel, patched direct thru the loop, but a small mixer is a cheaper way to go.

The presets won't affect you much because you'll use the EQ from the mixer.

There are no effects available in the PAS. The only digital processors are internal and deal with compression and EQ.

You're gonna love it, though !

It comes with a strong piece of velcro! I have mine right on the kb. I never have to reach far to make changes !
