I'm a transplant from the Technics Canada Board too. I really missed the people from that board, so am glad to see many familiar names from the Technics Canada days recently migrate over here, both on the Synthzone Technics forum and here on the General Arranger forum as well.

Though I'm admittedly a long time Technics devotee, I'm not stuck on only one arranger brand. I'll go with ANY brand which will fullfill my specific arranger keyboard needs . . . even a Casio. Currently, I still am very pleased with the Yamaha PSR2000, I'm just disappointed with Yamaha's sudden unexpected switch-aroo from flashROM OS support to now having to deal with the unfortunate prospect of taking my keyboard 30-40 miles to leave it for repair and return again in a week to pick it up. The issue of who (Yamaha or moi) is going to have to pay for this ROM chip update is still not totally resolved either Still awaiting a definitive answer from the Yamaha PSR keyboarod Service Tech (Bill Kamstra). Btw,anyway else here working with him? I'm just curious, who at Yamaha are the rest of you working with? I get the sutble feeling Mr Kamstra is getting tired of hearing from me about all this.

"The kn5000 is the best keyboard in the world", did I say that? Even though I still love my KN5000, I still think (and always have thought) my 'precious' Steinway remains my most musically satisfying keyboard! Oops, sorry Uncle Dave, I just couldn't resist.

My rep's name is Dave. Nice guy, who finally agreed with me that the harmonizer doesn't work right.
