If I am lucky enough to find a deal on a 9000 Pro, would it be possible to have access somehow to the FABULOUS PA80 styles and can they be formatted to play in the Pro?

You would have to convert the PA80 styles to the Yamaha format. The only software I know that does this is EMC software. You can find it here: http://www.tastenshop.com/taste/

You can also do it without EMC. Save the style parts as midi files using the style to midi conversion tool. Introduce them into a sequencer that supports import of files and markers ( such as XG works ), put the pieces together, add the markers, and then use Michael P Bedesem's freeware PSR stylemaker. Even though I no longer own a PSR I've converted about 20 of them for use inside of XG works ( it supports and plays Yamaha styles ). They work fine.
