I've recently purchased a maplin 4600, it's great and in full working order as far as I'm aware, only problem is I dont seem to be able to make any noises whatsoever from the keyboard, playing the keys does nothing. I know sound can be generated from the unit because I was able to manipulate some system noise that was inadvertently generated when it was turned on. Please help!
I'm guessing it's:

1) something that needs doing on the patch panel that I havent put in a pin for
2) the keyboard isnt connected inside somewhere
3) one of the other controls or something I havent thought of!
