Hi: Visions
I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
I don't have any plug in boards in my Pro, but at least I will
bump your question to the top again.
Maybe someone will be able to help you.

Hmmmm - actually I have plugged several boards into my 9000 Pro but not the PLG100-XG, which is different from the other PLG's because it's a multi-voice board. There's a lot of possible configurations. My only advice is to refer to your 9000 Pro owner's manual beginning on Page 66 for help. Sorry but that's all I know.

the only thing I can think is did you use the disc that came w/ the plg board? I think once you finish the installation there's a short procedure you do w/ a supplied disc that "maps" the name of each patch to the proper place on the keyboard. (that's how it was with the piano one, anyway..)

hope that helps...

Visions,

Generally speaking the PLG100XG would seem to be a poor choice to add to the 9000PRO. First, the 9000PRO already has XG voices, so the only thing you could get is more polyphony. Second, since the nature and propose of the PLG100XG is multi voice tone generation, it only works in Performance or Song modes. The 9000PRO doesnt have a Performance mode, so now you're limited to Song mode (if even that will work). I haven't tried anything with it yet, because I don't know your application yet. Let me know what you're trying to do, and we'll go from there.
