I recently added a Korg PA50 to my PSR3000. I intend to midi them together giving me a good mixture of Yamaha & Korg Voices & Styles, but first thought I would spent time getting to know the PA50.
Well the PA50 is remarkable value at half the price of 3K.
Interestingly the keybed is better quality than the 3K. The complete internals can be overwritten so there is no need to keep those styles you never use, surely this is how all keyboards should be ?.
There is an assignable slider and assignable 4 PADS to do various things on the fly. Overall this board has turned out to be better than expected considering it's full retail is £699 uk pounds. Great value for little outlay.

The pa50 seems remarkable value. How do the sounds and styles compare to the psr3000?

I ve had my 3k a year (9000Pro before) I have had in the past Korg i3 & i30 and Roland EM2000.
I am now into my 2nd week with the PA50. Purposely played only the Korg so as to get into it before patching up to the 3K.
I think the 3K is a great board, but just today I played the 3K again after a week with the PA50 and the 3K appeared thin lacking the body that the PA50 has. No sweet voices though.
These two boards are going to make a great combination.
