Any PA80 owners convert Yamaha styles for the Korg? How do they sound? Is there a ton of editing/tweaking involved?

thanks in advance for any insights....

I converted 81 styles from Yamaha to Korg and tweaked them for use on the PA80. Some came out pretty good, and I actually use quite a few of them on the board. Email me if you would like and I will send them to you.

thanks...I don't have a PA but am considering that new one PA1x -- I now play a 9kpro and realized that there are a handful of styles on it I couldn't live without....

ha ha, UD. for some reason I was never that blown away by the Tyros. are you playing it out live?
heard lots of mp3s when it first came out and the strings/guitars were great, the drums a clear step up from the psr line, but I just didn't think it was worth all that money. esp coming from the 9kpro.
with everything I keep hearing about the motif ES I'm musing about changing back to a "workstation." I'm trying to figure how miserable I'd be w/o the ability to just hit a button and have a jazz waltz or whatever available instantly....

I'm actually NOT ina rush to sell it. I like the sound, but it just sits most of the time - I don't record all that much during this time of the year, so I keep looking at it....all sad and lonely....on the shelf .... by itself....waiting for a playmate. Snif...snif....

Just kidding. I think it's a great addition to the studio - but it's NOT coming on stage with me - no sir-ree !(Remember, it's a mute !!!)
