Another question guys With only having my PA800 a week tomorrow (happy birthday ) may I ask how to change the drumtrack on a downloaded midifile? I love the song, timing in-fact everything except the sound of the drums. How do I go about changing these?

Thanks to all

I use a software program for all my SMF modifications... PowerTracks by PG Music

If send from PC midi out to PA800 midi in, you will need an instrument definition file for your PA800
This INS file can then be loaded in your sequencer software and you can choose per track which kit or instrument you want to use.

Can't you edit a midi file on the keyboard itself, in real time and than save it ?

open the song in the Kb sequencer

make your edits, change instruments , levels, use the mixer features for EFX, tuning, pan etc etc etc then simply save them to your thumb drive or HD use the drop down menu top right its so simple on the PA800. This is all in the manual also.
