Hi eveyone,
Is there anyone who could advise me on, what parts, relate to what parts, on the following two keyboards.
I have just aquired the psr9000 and would like to use it as the master board to activate the Techni-Cord function on the Kn6000 this is the main function I want to use at this time.
I have tried matching different parts during channel allocation for both instruments over the past few days with only partial success, hoever I am now thoughly confused.

I hopefully understand the Technics midi menue and have some ideal of the Yamahas, apart from the Root Settings and Cord Detect Settings.

The part names of the respective boards are:
TECHNICS/YAMAHA
ACP 1 RHY 1
ACP 2 RHY 2
ACP 3 BASS
ACP 4 CHD 1
ACP 5 CHD 2
DRUMS 1 PHR 1
DRUMS 2 PHR 2
PAD

Can anyone sugest what parts sould match to facilitate the correct midi channel allocation,at least the answer to this question will be one less headache for me.

With Thanks Gilbert.

HI GILBERT,
Congratulations on the purchase of the Yamaha 9k. I think it is a great board and far in advance of the kn6 we both still have. I haven't done any midi with them yet but I have done this, because I think it is easier. I have all the KN5000 styles that were converted to Yamaha and play fine in the 9K. Having both is like having your ice cream and eating it too, (so to speak). I am thankful to the person that sent me these KN5000 styles and ask that person to send them to Gilbert too. Gilbert is a great guy that I correspond with regularly. Please help him out or give me permission to forward the styles you sent me on to him. Thanks,
Bebop

HI: BEBOP
I think I sent you the styles for the KN5000
coverted to Yamaha PSR format, so you sure
can send them to Gilbert or I will if you
can't.
Let me know

Thank you Denny,
I just sent an E to Gilbert so see if he wants these files or already has received them from someone else. I have them still zipped up and ready to send once I hear from him.
Thanks to you Denny.

Hi Bill and Denny,
I thank you guys for for your remarks and generosity this is my first posting on this forum and it was a nice welcome. My thanks also to Grahame who mailed me some easy instructions to resolve my midi proplem.
Gilbert.
Ps: For anyone interested the midi connections for the TechnicsKn6000 to Prs9000 is: Technics Midi preset OrganI with Apc. Prs9000 Midi preset Keb and Acmp. followed by just a little tweaking.
