Trinity 1 and 2 are the "Basic Trinity", that can use the Solo-Tri expansion board (i.e. the Prophecy Solo Synthtizer) and other boards (SCSI, digital i/o, HDR, 8 MB Playback Sampling ROM). Version 2 is a great software enhancement of version 1: faster, more features... a simple OS upgrade using 3 diskettes transforms a V1 to a V2.
Trinity V3 is the same keyboard, boosted with the MOSS synthetizer (same as Z1, with 6 voices). It replaces the SOLO board that cannot be used togheter. The other options are available.
Thus V2 = Trinity (+ Solo optional), V3 = Trinity + MOSS.
