Sorry if this is old hat. Is anyone using the Roland KC550, and if so, what is your opinion of it?

Thanks
Nigel

Yeah, I have one. I like it. I plan on getting another to stereo link.

I just recently played a couple Keyboards through the Roland KC-550 and was very impressed. Btw, the KC-550 is a Stereo Keyboard Amp and it has a sound image enhancer button on top to expand the sound to a virtual Stereo image when using the R L/L+R Outputs of a Keyboard.

Incidentally one of the Keyboards I played through the Roland KC-550 was the new Hammond XK-3 Organ Keyboard. It sounded awesome through the KC-550 with only the L/L+R (Mono) Output of the Hammond XK-3 connected to the Roland.

The KC-550 has Rollers to make it easy to move on Stage, etc.

Using two of them would no doubt give you one up on much of the competition.

Best regards,
Mike

keybplayer is more informative, and I apologize. But, yes, it is a feature intensive amp. If you have 2 of them you can run a 1/4 inch mono line from one to the other via it's stereo link, and it sends the LH signal to the second KC550 and the sound/eq is controlled from the first one.

They have have great tone for my VR-760 in all modes. They'll also blow the glass out of your studio ifn' you're not careful.
