I hope Scott is OK, as I've not seen or talked with him on Skype for a few days.

He called me on Thursday and sounded OK.

He is probably madly in love with his T2 and can't get away from it.

Scott is a longtime and highly valued member of this forum. He's a very good friend to many of us and also provides a lot of practical information and help to others on this forum.

Absolutely!! A number of months ago on SZ I posted a question to Scott about the MPP device he uses on gigs. I never mentioned to Scott that I would like a phone call to have my question answered. Within a few hours my cell phone rang and it was Scott calling to give me detailed info on the MPP. As it turns out it was valuable info.

Hmmmm,
what exactly is going on with those lines in the posts? Do they mean "silence" or "no comment" or "I don't give a damn" or do they exist only as bait for peaople to ask?

Ok folks. Just to let you all know that I'm doing just fine. I had just slipped away for a few days to enjoy the Thanksgiving holidays with my family.

Sorry if I disappointed anyone here, but I haven't jumped ship, nor was I thrown over. Believe me, I'm the last person here who will let ANYONE (except Nigel) throw me off the SZ ship. As one of the senior SZ members (6+ years), of who also holds the title for contributing perhaps the most (as evidenced by the number of posts: over 7,000 ! ) I have no intention of abandoning or leaving the many wonderful arranger kb friends I've made here thru the years.

Many thanks to all those respondents here who have seriously inquired about me. As far as the DELETED thread posting replies from DNJ and kbrkr (of which I unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately) never had the chance to read, and to which Tony Rome is saying was sarcasm, I only wished DNJ & Al hadn't deleted them, so I could have read it for myself, to come to my own conclusions. This 'points out' how deleting postings/threads can often cause more problems than what was said in the first place, and stresses the importance of thinking BEFORE posting. I feel it would have been far better if Donny & Al added a followup reply instead of simply DELETING what was they said.

As far as the so called baiting goes, I've decided to ignore posters who I suspect are merely baiting me (or others here) to simply STIR up trouble. Then again, I appreciate good humor as much as the next guy, just as long as it's not vicious or vindictive.

Ok, because of my upcoming holiday preparation & hectic performance schedule, I unfortunately won't be able to post regularly again until after the New Year. I do plan to read (keep up) with what's going on here though. In the meantime, If anyone wants to contact me, feel free to email me privately. I hope to be back participating here regularly again, as soon as the holiday rush is over.

Happy holidays to all.

Scott

It's good to know that everything is OK Scott. You take the time to do what you need to. I'm hoping the Tyros 2 is everything you hoped it would be. Have you got it all set up for work like you had the original Tyros ?

Don't read so much into what has been edited. I have posted humorous responses in the past then decided it may not be the best way to respond and edited them. They weren't at all offensive but just not quite appropriate when I reread them. That is why you can edit as we all sometimes rethink our postings. Even you must sometimes I am sure.

Happy Holidays Scott

From Nigel, Kerry & Ollie

Fo anyone that didn't get the meaning, "bait for people to ask" was a joke.
Sincerely,

I find myself lately writing a post or a reply but I don't hit send I walk away or go to another site and come back to it.
Like Nigel, 30 minutes later that post that I thought was a witty reply doesn't seem so witty anymore.
I'm replying less but enjoying it more!?
