I'll tell you the difference when I hear it. I made the purchase from Dano. Even though I have great admiration for our fellow keyboard dealer, George Kaye, I gave Dano the nod because he is closer (shipping costs). I encourage all on this forum to purchase from the dealers on this forum when possible, because they take the time to answer questions, and because they provide very competitive prices.

One of my keyboards is for sale already on Ebay: Item # 2538152540. I started bidding at $1.00 and after two hours, my keyboard is already going for $1.25!!! I hope to get a little more than that when the week is done.

Is it really worth it? If you have 2 keyboards and they'll probably sell from $725 to $800 and your taking a $300 dollar hit on each board bringing it to $600 to get the new 2100... Is it that good to upgrade??? Just wondering... I have a 2000 and as far as I can tell hell will not freeze over as would need to happen for my wife to allow me such an upgrade... Unless the board will make me sound like Yanny...

The keyboards are worth it for me. A lot of those extra voices are real basic ones that will be appreciated not only on the melody side of the keyboard, but in the sound of the styles: live drums, live pianos, better nylong and jazz guitar, some extra horn voices, harmonica, organ voices. I think that I will sound enough better with this keyboard to take the hit.

It's a tax write off for me.

I'm buying two, so that I can have one in my office/studio. If I want to revoice a style, I don't have to lug a keyboard in and out of the trunk.

I can understand your not wanting to buy a PSR2100. Hang on to your great keyboard.
