When i tried to record simultaneously all the 16 tracks from X3 into Cakewalk, though i can see a message in cakewalk indicating that it is waiting for Midi sync but when i press play from the X3 it is still showing the same message and never records.
I made sure that i 'arm' all the tracks and wiring are all intact and correct, also the global midi clock source is set INT.
Am i missing something here...
Could someone please advise me on this ?
Thanks a lot!

i had the same problem since i started using cakewalk pro 8. i never had this problem when i was using cakewalk 6. my suggestion for you is to save the files to the floppy disk and try to load it up to cakewalk to make the corrections. When your done, you can play the file from cakewalk or you can load it up on your x3 and play it form there!
