Just received my HDD so i let you now how it works (the IBM 5400 Rpm)

Did you format/partition your HD from the Tyros itself?

How did you get the 1200 songs onto your Tyros hard drive? From your PC via USB connection to Tyros, or via floppy?

Scott, i formatted in on the Tyros himself
And the filemanager on the Tyros cd works
as a windows explorer map.
You can make anything you like on the HDD
I transported it trhu the USB conection it
is not fast but you can Play when it runs !
I made alphbetic maps to put the midi files on.
I do the same with the styles.
After the KN6000 with HDSX6 ,i thougt this will be slower in loading,but it goes very fast.

It is a IBM travelstar 20 GB 5400rpm
I Love this Machine and the utilyties
deliverd with it.
