Thanks for sharing! It is funny how we have to play detectives to find relevant information about the new Yamaha keyboards. Yamaha should know that the rules have changed in the internet age: You can't disclose information only to a few select people - in this case German dealers visiting Musikmesse.

I think they are very aware that the rules have changed and they completely expect the info to leak out. I don't think it's a big concern for them either. Are the guys like us who are constantly clamoring for info their big market? Nope. It's the mass consumer market that goes to Guitar Center and Sam Ash. It's a little different overseas but not much.

Yes, you are probably right about Yamaha handling the consumer market differently than the professionel market. When the new Motif XS synths leaked on the internet just before winter NAMM it didn't take many hours before Yamaha had posted press releases in various internet forums.
