Tyros Registrations will not load into the 3K, but there is a free program called RegFix which does a reasonably job of the conversion. Music Finder,User voices & all Tyros OTS Styles work in the 3K taking into account the lack of 3rd Voices as already discussed.

Then, DonM, do you say grand piano Tyros is a lot better than PSR3000? or perhaps do you refers to grand piano Tyros comparing it with PSR2000 you had before?

I swear .. they are the same sample. (My thoughts) Maybe the different keybed and velocity settings affect how they sound, but I believe the 3k has the same grand piano that the Ty does.

To me, the Tyros sounds better. I don't have a 3000, but my friend Hank does, and I hear it a lot, and play it occasionally. Don't get me wrong, the 3K piano sounds good, but to me the Tyros is better. DonM
I hope you listen both with similar speakers to do the comparison. If not, it is clear Tyros piano voice will sound a lot better through external speakers than 3000 one through keyboard speakers.
