I used to own the I30 once a moon ago and I had a good time with it, particulary with its styles which is the best feature of the keyboard.

But then the Solton X1 came out, and the rest is history as they say..........

Good luck with the I30 though,

Well Danny,

Don't forget to mention that I can buy two Korg i30's for ONE Solton X1.

So the choice was easy for me...

Surprisingly, the Korg I30 lost its price fairly quickly of it being released, at least in the UK anyway. I do not think they sold that well to be honest, which perhaps did not give it much justice as I think it has some inspirational styles, some even better than the Solton's.

But for me anyway, its just the average sounds, rough midi playback & generally poor user interface (or operating system) that let it down for me, not to mention it lack of amplification. Had all these been improved, then it would of been a killer machine for sure!

But like I said, its still a great keyboard and I loved it when I had it.

With the newest OS 2.1.3 it is fully compatible! Just put in your old i3 disks and you can use them again without any problems!

Super right?
