Earlier, someone in this forum had suggested we ought to do more to "show off" what these keyboard arrangers can do. So, when a friend in my office suggested I bring in the keyboard for a informal demo of this technology, the suggestion suprised me, but, as I thought about it, the idea began to appeal to me. Many people have no idea of the versatility of these keyboard arrangers, and the sound quality that can be produced by them. To "show off" the sound quality effectively, it would be nice to pick some songs that go hand-in-hand with the solo instrument being played. For example, "It's Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White" is great for showing off the trumpet. And, because of Kenny G, "Forever In Love" is just right for showing off the Soprano Sax. How about "Sunrise, Sunset" for a Fiddle solo? I'm sure many of the artists in this forum will be able to think of several examples right off the top of their head. So, my question is, What other songs would be "just perfect" for showing off a particular solo instrument?
