I trying to record MIDI tracks using Cakewalk and Trinity with a Midiman 2x4 MIDI interface.
I made trinity as the master and i pushed record button in Cakewalk and i can see a message that says it is waiting for Midi syn from the Master controller. But if i press the start button of the sequencer of the Trinity, nothing happens from Cakewalk side.
I had the same problems with Cakewalk when i was using Korg X3. Could someone please advise..

Also i use SMF files in Trinity sequencer, if change the patch and play it; it reverts back to the same patch while playing..
Is there way to change the patch to the one i want ? Could someone please advise..

Seems like Cakewalk doesn't receive anything. Make shure that appropriate MIDI-in device is on. Didn't you try to connect the Trinity to PC's Com-port throug PC I/F - interface? Maybe it would help.
