This is my first post on this great site. I've just bought a new PSR9000 and a secondhand PSR8000. Firstly, a question: has any PSR9000 owner got the aftertouch to work? - it's great on the 8000, but I can only detect a tiny trace (any at all?) on the 9000. My dealer says it doesn't work and Yamaha know all about it - is he right?, seems like a major omission to me!
Secondly, since Yamaha are supposedly going to give us lots more goodies with the next OS, what would other owners like them to add?

Same for me! I've detected only a very small amount of effect only related to a few voices. Because it's my first keyboard with aftertouch functionality I thought it's normal?!

Other experiences?

The same as you, guys. :-) It is my first keyboard with aftertouch. I tried to set the aftertouch sensitivity to minimum, but I did not notice a change. May be the aftertouch will come with the next OS version.
