I have looked all over for advise on something I could use some help with. . . Irecently purchased the SCSI card for my Triton. Basically, I need to create some samples on the Triton to use for live performance, and need to know anyone's reccomendations for external storage via the SCSI interface. I read on a site somewhere that the Triton can only read up to a 4 gig harddrive, and if it is partitioned the Triton will only read the first partition. So I suppose I could buy a 4 gig external harddrive or an internal and buy a case for it, but I was wondering what kind of experience anyone had with this. . . i.e. is a harddrive the best route to go? I know you could also use removable storage like a Jazz drive, but is that reliable? Do those disks corrupt frequently? I am especially curious about the idea of using a CDRW for external storage, the convenience and affordability of the discs would be unbeatable. Any thoughts / suggestions, if CDRW is an option what kind of specs would the drive have to be? Any help is GREATFULLY appreciated.
