Hi Donny
It may not be partitioned or is corrupted, so follow the instructions below.
Start, Control Panel, Administration Tools, Computer Management, Disk Management.
See if the drive shows up in the list, (Until it is partitioned a Drive letter will not be assigned) if it does then Right click the drive and you will find the option to Partition and Format it. (WARNING Do NOT make it an active partition, or select any drive that has a letter assigned)
If the drive does not show up, then there is probably either a bad connection, faulty drive or an incompatibility problem. (Disk checking utilities for specific drives are usually available from the drive manufactures web site)
