Wow! It's shocking to hear this. Personally I thought Technics made some nice arrangers, my only beef was that so many dealers were charging such high prices for them. Does this mean there will be a price drop on their current models? What about support and warranties for those who buy one in May? Will the support still be there? Oh DanO, email me with your price on the KN25/2600 when you get a chance.. I was looking at these models last night and both are quite interesting..

Thanks,
Squeak

Panasonic is not going out of business , so I am certain it will honor all warrantys . I would even offer an in house warranty for any customer considering making a purchase.

Hello Dan,
Just curious if any of the KN7000 sold yet?

May I trade with my KN6000? (I know, it's a long shot)

Long Story short: Brought it from overseas. Some a-hole dropped a luggage in the center of the keyboard resulting a crack in a few places (just the keyboard part). Took it to the repair guy and had them replaced/repaired. It works fine now, but the composer has intermitten problem, which is the biggest reason why I stayed with Technics for a long time.

By the way- other than that the keyboard is relatively free of scratches since I hardly bring it anywhere. If I did, I always put it in the vinyl case with me.

But as for just playing in general, everything works fine, rhythm, accompaniment and all as far as I know.

Well, well,well.fancy that.
I wonder whether we should still take it with a grain of salt or not, as pointed out by yourself on the Technics forum.
Just goes to show just how much you know.
