Pose,

You may want to put in a call to Steve Demming at Yamaha. He can probably provide you with a quick answer. The only batteries I changed were in the PSR-500 and 5700 and didn't have a problem. Not sure about the 9000.

Good Luck,

Gary

Hi Pose.

Don´t worry. 9000Pro (and PSR9000) doesn´t have any battery on board. All settings (panel memory, songs, voices, samplers....)and OS are stored in flash memory (RAM). If your 9000 has a HD, make a back-up of all settings.

Cheers.

Thanks Guys:
Thats very good news, I thought I had read about a 5 year battery,Probably was on the old 540 I had for a few weeks....

Gar: I havn't had much luck with getting through to Steve, I was using the telephone, to Yamaha's main number and would get a answer that he would call, problem with this he might not be able to call for a day or so, and each time I was away from the phone. Next time I'll use email.

Thanks to both of you, happy camper on this end.....Pose
