Whats the story on the karma does anyone know? See Im thinking of buying a triton but I heard it is like a test for korg. I heard they are planning something even better and that compared to what they are planning, the triton is just an overpriced gimmick. Has anyone heard these rumors?

The KARMA looks like a "trendy" I-series synth....

BAD BAD BAD!

The Trinity and Triton are the "Real" workstations.

o yeah...

The Triton seemed to be the competion for the Yamaha EX5... way better though...

I dunno, i still like the loaded trinity V3 as an all-round workstation. I didnt need a sampler - i like have the Hard disk recording on board and the ability to load WAV file samples too .. (The Z1 is also nice)

There are always lots of rumors about everything. If you listen to them, you will never buy a synth.

The triton is Korgs biggest seller ever (I have heard that it even outsold the M1!). A very profitable gimmick, then...

The one thing you can trust is:
1. Korg will make better synths than whatever synth they currently have.
2. It will be less expensive
3. This will happen right after you purchase anything.

Thats just how it is. The best cure is not to read lots of music magazines or surfing the net for news :-)

Check this out Karma sells for 2850 here in Canada. That's steep.
