hi all:
i'm planning to spend some of my income tax money in either april or may and i need some help in making a final choice between the yamaha motif 6 and the korg triton rack. i'm looking for expanabily, great sounds, very few x's in the midi implementation, great sampler features and a great price. this will be my first workstation synth so i also want it to be easy to use.
any input would be gratly appreciated.
thanx moze39

Both are awesome. As you are in this section of the forum, I'll say "take the Triton"

I suggest you take 1 or 2 hours to listen each synth, and also other models (karma, triton le, phantom, clavia, andromeda, ...) to be sure and better to feel in love with your future workstation

Well, hm... I would say, take thr Triton Rack because of his expansion Boards...! Korg released 8 Boards with new sounds, each Boards own 16MB of sound stuff, Yamaha released a lot of Boards, too but they are mostly new syntheses like the DX and AN Board, but you were still able to make great sounds, too...! But, if I remember rite, you can only install 64MB to the sampler, 96MB on the Korg Triton Rack!! I would buy the Rack... and at least, the rack is cheaper!
