Hi Gang,

I got an e-mail for this new site.
It looks kinda new, but might be worth watching. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OnlyTheBestPSRStyleFiles/files/

Enjoy

Eric

Hmmm... they're sharing clavinova and tyros styles. I posted a question there whether they think what they're doing is legal. Me thinks it's only a matter of time til the style police are going to shut them down (remember what happened over at the other styles site not too long ago?) ...

Evan,
Well you've certainly just made their (the style police) job alot easier, you've given them the road map.

One of the messages (from Basiljet) refers visitors to a Yamaha Demark site"

"Not everybody will know that you can download zips of the factory disks supplied with PSR350, 740, 2000, 9000, 9000pro and cvp209 from http://www.yamaha-europe.com/yamaha_europe/
denmark/service/040_downloads/10_download_pro
ducts/ "

You will have to put those two parts of the URL together to get to the site. It is Yamaha in Denmark and anyone can download a number of the factory disks for various Yamaha keyboards. The styles in the file area are from this source. The factory disk for the PSR9000 had some 66 styles on it. (I think the CVP disk, however, had only midi files.) Since "Yamaha" has made these styles freely downloadable, I think they are now fair game. I'm not so sure, however, about the public offer to swap commercial style disks. I'm also not so sure about the assumption that "commercial" styles are automatically good styles. If you happen to have a PSR-2000 (or PSR-1000), I think you will find an extraordinary set of "good" styles available at http://psrtutorial.com.
