Very good for living room. No powerful enough for playing in public. I did a small nursing home with them once. Barely adequate.

They would be good for a tenor sax, but definitely not for an alto sax.

my bad, i did not input the subject line. it hen defaulted to an old topic that I posted.
I don't need a lot of volume, just for a church
that accomodate about 300 parisheners.

I would get something a little louder, even for that. The Logitech Z2200 is much better, very inexpensive and easy to transport.
