Why does a CD that a friend sent play through my computer with Real Player and it won't play on my CD Boombox.

Every CD I've ever burned on my computer plays great in the Boom Box.

Hope someone can help.

Boo,

put the CD in your computer, click My Computer, then right click the drive and click explore. Look at the files and see what kind of files they are. They may be MP3s and not WAVs.

yeah, as gary said boo, just check on your PC.... if its an audio file, compatible with a cd player the extension on the file should be .cda

Your friend probably forgot to finalize the CD. Ask him to send you another one.

OK! He said it is a MP3! Is there anyway to convert it? I thought the tunes that I'm getting from Limewire are listed as MP3's and they play in the boombox. What's up?

I can play some jazz but I'm really behind on this tech stuff.
