That's why professionals all carry spares--even spare keyboards. What would you do in the middle of a large party with 400 to 500 people if your keyboard suddenly crapped out, or your amp head fried? If you don't carry spares, it's like playing Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun. BANG!

Fran, I have a friend who said the same thing, and he plays nothing but yamaha's, but that's not the reason to carry spares. Are you trying to tell us that you don't carry a spare anything, spare mic, spare cables, spare speaker? You're saying that all you do is show up in front of a couple hundred people that just put down a large sum of money, rented tuxedos and hope that nothing crashes, and if it does, you just shrug your shoulders and go home. Nah! You're a lot smarter than that.
